WHO WE  ARE

MISSION

To provide much needed soccer gear, equipment and funds to soccer clubs, organizations, and teams in low-income areas so children and teens experience feeling connected to a team and mentors, achieve personal success, and grow through team sports.

HOW IT ALL STARTED

Granda Soccer 4 Kids was launched in 2015 as a non-profit by the Granda family who loves playing and watching soccer. We decided that we wanted to give back to kids who are less fortunate and could not afford all the equipment used to play soccer. We collect soccer gear, equipment, etc. and donate it to soccer clubs, organizations, and teams in underserved communities.

ANTHONY GRANDA

ANTHONY GRANDA

I am a recent college graduate from Saint Mary's College of California with a major in Social Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. During my college experience, I played on the men's club soccer team for 3 years at Saint Mary's as a defender. Before college, I also played on the high school soccer team as a defender at Los Alamitos High School. I feel very lucky that I have been able to play on competitive club teams for so long. Outside of soccer, I like to go to the beach and hang out with friends and family. We are excited about our non-profit and the opportunity to share our love of soccer with those less fortunate.

NICHOLAS GRANDA

NICHOLAS GRANDA

I am a Sophomore at Gonzaga University with a major in Business Administration and a concentration in Management Information Systems. I love to play soccer and I can play any position my team needs me to play, but my favorite position is mid-fielder. I have had the chance to play competitively for around 10 years now on club teams and on my high school team at Los Alamitos High. Off the soccer field, I like surfing and I like hanging out with my family and friends. I am very excited to be doing the non-profit with my family and we hope to continue to do this for a long time.

CARLOS & MELISSA GRANDA

Hi, I'm Carlos and I have been playing and watching soccer my whole life. I grew up in Ecuador and moved to California for high school. I have enjoyed coaching my kids' soccer teams throughout the years.

Hello, I'm Melissa and I have enjoyed watching my kids play soccer. I didn't grow up watching soccer, but I've grown to appreciate the sport in my adult years.
